We are excited to introduce Ahrefs Disavow Tool Integration!

Whether you have experience with Google's Disavow Tool or are just getting started, our new Disavow Links Integration can become an indispensable tool for neutralizing those pesky, low-quality backlinks. This new Ahrefs offering aims to solve the main pain points of Google's Disavow Tool, namely, the initial collection of links for disavowal, and the ongoing management of your disavow list.

With the help of our new Disavow Tool Integration, you will be able to:

  • Upload an existing list of disavowed links in the standard format of Google's Disavow Tool.
  • Quickly add new links and domains to an existing list of disavowed links, straight from the Site Explorer.
  • Create a new Google-ready Disavow list within the Site Explorer.
  • Filter disavowed links by domain, page name, and keyword, and easily remove them from the list.
  • Export a finalized list of disavowed links for quick import into Google's Disavow Tool.

Let's take a closer look at our new Disavow Tool Integration:

1. Getting started with the Disavow Tool Integration is simple. All you need to do  is add your domain to the Dashboard and start marking links for disavowal! If you have previously used Google's Disavow Tool, you can also upload an existing disavow list.

2. Links can be marked for disavowal in two sections of the Site Explorer: Links and Referring Domains, both under Inbound Links. To add a link to the disavow list, simply click on the 'Disavow URL' or 'Disavow Domain' buttons while hovering your mouse over a backlink. An entire page of links can also be marked for disavowal with a single click. Lastly, if you would like to unmark a link from disavowal, simply press 'Return Disavowed.'

3. Once disavowed links have been marked on your Dashboard, a new option in the Site Explorer will allow you to hide disavowed links from reports. Doing so will turn the Site Explorer interface dark blue, reminding you that some of your links have been hidden. For the time being, links and domains can only be hidden from the Links report, under Inbound Links

4. In Hide Disavowed Links mode, the Overview section will display the total number of hidden links along with their details.

5. In the Disavowed Links section, you will be able to filter links and domains by keyword, source, and date, easily tracking down and deleting items from the list. After changes have been finalized, the new list can be exported for further offline modification, or for import into Google's Disavow Tool.

Now you're ready to disavow in style!

With full Site Explorer integration, we have no doubt that Ahrefs Disavow Tool Integration will significantly streamline your management of disavowed links.
